Gold Coast Wedding Photographer: Kate and Michael’s Wedding {Part 1}

I absolutely love photographing weddings!  I was really excited to photograph the wedding of Kate and Michael.  They were very down to earth, easy to chat to and the love between them was easy to see!

Kate and Michael were married at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Surfers Paradise.  It had been wet in the week leading up to their wedding, so my second shooter Louise (from Little Presh Photography) and I arrived armed with umbrellas.  Luckily, we were blessed with fine weather and a beautiful day!

Kate and Michael chose a yellow themed wedding which was absolutely beautiful!  With yellow gerberas, yellow bridesmaid dresses and yellow bows on flower girl dresses, the yellow theme was perfection!  After the ceremony, we went to Miami beach for portraits and then back to the hotel for the reception.

Kate and Michael’s wedding party were so much fun and kept their bride and groom smiling and laughing for the whole day.  Kate and Michael were married surrounded by family and friends as well as their precious baby boy and Michael’s beautiful girls.  A perfect day filled with love!

One of the things that I find most tricky about blogging a wedding is trying to cut down the photos that I include!  There are so many photos that I love from Kate and Michael’s wedding, it is hard to share just a few!  I was lucky enough to be able to capture a big part of Kate and Michael’s wedding day, so will be sharing their photos over a 2 part post 🙂

Keep an eye out for Part 2 of Kate and Michael’s beautiful wedding day!

Until next time!
